When you see a vehicle approaching you with blue lights flashing, please yield the right-of-way to them. That vehicle contains a volunteer emergency worker on their way to an emergency where seconds count!

When you see/hear an emergency vehicle, such as a fire truck, ambulance or police vehicle with their siren and/or lights on, pull over to the right and let them pass!

Check your smoke and CO detectors monthly. Don't forget to change the batteries!

Fireworks safety: Be smart this holiday weekend! According to USFA, In 2008, U.S. hospital emergency rooms treated an estimated 7,000 people for fireworks-related injuries. Also, be wary of small children around outdoor grills. Teach them to Stop, Drop, & Roll if clothes catch fire. Be safe!
